1. Leut – Fish Restaurant
A real institution in Cavtat! The Bobic family since 1971, three generations. Located directly on the waterfront in the harbour, Trumbicev put 17 – the most beautiful position on the riva, terrace right on the sea with view over whole Cavtat and the boats. Every morning they select fresh fish. Besides fresh fish they also have sushi – the only real sushi in Cavtat, freshly prepared from Adriatic tuna and salmon.
2. La Boheme – Modern
Obala Ante Starcevica 26, on the promenade. Modern restaurant, ideal for dinner. Good selection of wines and aperitifs, plus modern Mediterranean cuisine. Tuna steak, bruschetta, pumpkin soup.
3. Villa Banac
Old Dubrovnik villa right in Cavtat harbour. The most beautiful view for sunset, prominent position – terrace hanging over the sea, you watch the sun falling behind Cavtat. For romantic dinner there is no better.
4. Domestico
In Mocici village, short drive from Cavtat. Family run with big garden. Besides Mediterranean dishes they also have excellent pizzas from wood oven – thin dough, domestic prosciutto, cheese from Konavle. Rated 5.0 on Google.
5. Ludo More
Put Tihe 22, right next to Zal Beach. The most relaxed of all! Feet in sand, tables on pebbles, fishermen in the morning bring fish directly to kitchen. Black risotto, grilled squid.

Where all locals sit in morning for coffee. Big terrace on promenade, view on sea and yachts.
Caffe bar Torpedo –
a bit further on riva, more quiet for morning coffee.
Little Star –
bar in old part, small, charming, for evening cocktail under stars.

(15 min drive)
Konoba Vinica Monkovic
– Donja Ljuta 44, on Ljuta river, under walnut trees. Stone house 100 years old. Meat under peka, homemade potatoes, own wines.
Konavoski Dvori – Old mills
On Ljuta river, national restaurant. Veal under peka, lamb, rozata.
Zupa Dubrovacka –
on the way to Dubrovnik
Portun -in Srebreno,
at the traffic light at the main crossroad. Modern restaurant, easy parking. The best grill in Zupa, fine meat and fish dishes.
King – in Mlini,
fine dining for meat lovers. Specialties are tartar beefsteak, beefsteak, scampi, fine meat dishes and steaks.
All restaurants and bars are reachable in 20 to 30 min walk from Orange Tree Apartments (Poluganje 13, Cavtat) – downhill to riva.
Way back uphill a bit longer, good for burning calories!
